Experiment House 01 - Single Family

This project explores how a contemporary house can integrate seamlessly into a neighborhood of traditional-style homes. Our approach emphasizes maintaining a respectful relationship with the surrounding community by: 1) using natural wood materials designed to age gracefully over time, and 2) designing the house as a series of simple, offset boxes to reduce the overall scale and complement the neighborhood's existing architecture.
